Why did Nick think that Gatsby ws lying about his past?
What's going on with Daisy's daughter?
Why did Nick write down all of the people that went to Gatsby's house that summer?
1) Nick thought Gatsby was lying about his past because Gatsby was being so bland with his past, not getting into any details and would sometimes hesitate on his answers. Nick continued going along because Nick wanted to see if he would falter into a bigger lie or come to see if Gatsby is being truthful to him.
